The Rain Came
Last week was a rough one on the coast of Mozambique. Jokwe, a cyclone hit the coast and destroyed the houses of many people. There are numbers given that are weak, but at least three dead and as many as 10. The cyclone left the coast and moved south, where it threatens to hit again.
I am safe and sound, but I did get soaked in the rain. The reason is that I was travelling with some colleagues to visit a village in the south of Zambeze province. I am currently doing what is necessary to see an allocation in just a few weeks. Please pray for wisdom as a search for the right place to live is still underway. Please pray for good language ability. The Lolo people speak a language very different from any I know, and that will be a huge barrier to cross. Please pray for good cultural understanding. The Lolo people have a world view that is complex, and that is important to address in the presentation of God's Word.
